2021-22 Toddler Enrollment Contract

This contract is for enrollment in the Bellevue Montessori Toddler program for the 2021-2022 school year which goes from Wednesday, September 1, 2021 to Thursday, June 10, 2022. Those with a Fall 2021 or mid-year start (other than September) will be responsible for tuition from the month they start thru June 2022. The Half Day Morning Program is Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 11:45 am daily. The School Day Program is Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 3:00 pm daily. The School Day Program with Activity Club Before and After School Care hours are 7:45 am to 6:00 pm daily. Enrollment in Activity Club program includes care for 15 days where school is closed due to Parent/Teacher conferences, Teacher in-service days, the mid-Winter and Spring Break.

Tuition on a mid-year start will be based on the number of months that your child attends. Tuition is paid on a monthly basis and requires two tuition deposits for May 2022 and June 2022. If a new students starts in the School Day and Activity Club program in February, there will be an additional fee for the Mid-Winter break days.

I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS: Please click in box directly below to read terms.
1. Registration at Bellevue Montessori School requires agreement with the philosophy and policies described in the Parent Handbook. By signing this contract, I acknowledge that I have read the parent handbook for the program in which my child is enrolled and agree to and accept the provisions and policies that are contained in it, as well as any revisions that may be adopted after this date. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to request an explanation or clarification for any provision which I do not fully understand. I understand that the school may revise the handbook at any time, and that written notice of revisions will appear in a school newsletter or email. I agree that I am responsible for reading the newsletter or email to be aware of any revisions. 2. I specifically acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to each of the following (found online at www.bellmontessori.com) -Emergency Response Plan -Pesticide Policy (in the Handbook) -Health Policy (in the Handbook) -Pet Policy (in the Handbook) - Covid-19 Addendum 3. I agree that I will promptly notify Bellevue Montessori School in writing of any changes in the information contained in the application for enrollment and of any other information required by school policies. 4. Bellevue Montessori School charges annual tuition for the school year as described at the beginning of this contract. The tuition payment obligation remains the same each month regardless of the number of days of school in the month, attendance, vacations, family emergencies, school closure, holidays, student illness, and any other reason that my child does not attend school. School closure days due to weather, unsafe air conditions, natural disaster, government mandated closure, or power outages are not made up.* 5. When 2 children from the same parents attend school at the same time, the lower tuition rate of the two children will be reduced by 3%. If the same parents have a third child in the same school year the two lesser tuitions will be reduced by 3%. These reductions will be taken on the final payment of the school year (April or May). 6. Families who chose to pay the full tuition in one payment before school starts may reduce the annual payment by 3%. If a family that has paid the full tuition before school starts choses to withdraw their child prior to the end of the school year, the discounted amount of tuition remaining would be refunded minus any deposits at the full standard rate. 7. The total of all combinations of discounts can not exceed 6%. 8. Unless the total tuition is paid prior to the start of school, the annual tuition is due in ten equal installments. Payment of tuition may be made by preauthorized draft from your bank account or pre authorized payments by a credit card or by check. * Payment #1 is due with the completed enrollment form and contract within 14 days of receiving the enrollment offer and is made by credit card for no additional fee. The non-refundable deposit payment is your tuition payment for June 2022. * New Students also have a second payment which is due May 1st or if this contract is submitted after May 1, thirty days after you submit the enrollment form, contract and deposit payment #1. The second non-refundable deposit payment is your tuition payment for May 2022. * For later enrollments, both deposit payments are due prior to the start of the school year in September. * The remaining eight payments are due the first school day of the month from September through April, either by automatic drafts (ACH) through Bellevue Montessori School or directly with a check for no additional fee. Credit card payments made online through Tuition Express are subject to a 3.2% convenience fee on all payments. 9. I agree to pay monthly tuition payments on or before the first school day of the month. I will pay a $25.00 late fee if my tuition payment is received after the fifth of the month, a $30.00 handling fee for any declined payment and interest on past due balances at the rate of 1.5% per month. 10. If your child is withdrawn prior to March first, and you have made 2 deposit payments; one payment may be credited to your child's last month of attendance. In order to be eligible to apply the May 2022 deposit to a student's last month of attendance prior to March 2022, we require written notification of 45 days prior to the student's last day of attendance. If your child is withdrawn after March 1st, the second deposit may not be used towards anything but the May 2022 tuition. 11. An authorized adult will pick up the student from school each day in accordance with School policy. I agree to pay charges for Activity Club or the applicable Late Pickup Charge fee (for late pickup from Activity Club) if my student is not picked up on time. 12. Bellevue Montessori School reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to revoke enrollment at any time (before or after the beginning of classes) when it deems it necessary. In the event admission is revoked, Bellevue Montessori School reserves the right to determine whether any portion of the second tuition deposit will be refunded. The June 2022 deposit is non-refundable. 13. In the event an attorney is employed to collect any amount due hereunder, I agree to pay all attorneys’ fees and costs incurred by Bellevue Montessori School for the collection of the amount due. 14 Change of schedule. Parents may extend their child’s schedule if space is available. Please contact the Campus Administrator by the 20th of the month prior to when you would like your child to start their new schedule (half day to school day, school day to adding Activity Club, etc.). If you are requesting to to add Activity Club in January or February, please note that there will be a partial fee added if you choose to have your child attend the Mid-Winter Break week (February President’s Holiday week). 15. Mid-year enrollment. Students that enroll after the school year has begun: The schedule for submitting the May deposit will be no later than 30 days after the June deposit. Tuition will only be owed for months of attendance. The monthly tuition amount due is 1/10th of the full school year tuition amount. An additional amount of tuition may be due for Activity Club days if joining BMS with a full care schedule starting on January or February 1st. In this case, parents can choose whether they want their child to attend the Activity Club days and pay the additional fee. If starting mid-month, 50% of the tuition for that month will be due. Bellevue Montessori School does not prorate per day or week attended. 16. Drop in for AM Activity Club and PM Activity club vouchers are available at the front desk. Vouchers can be used as space is available. Vouchers come in a book of five. Five AM Activity Club vouchers are $50.00 and five PM Activity Club vouchers are $150.
